The 2.9 update in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is the fourth major update since the game was unbanned in May. Following the success of updates 2.7 and 2.8, which saw different types of modes and events such as the Dragon Ball Z mode, Zombie Edge mode and more, fans are now looking forward to seeing what the new 2.9 update has to offer. BGMI 2.9 update features a brand new Frozen Kingdom mode based on the christmas theme
According to leaks by a Youtuber named , the 2.9 update in BGMI will bring back the winter theme mode named Frozen Kingdom. The map of Erangel will be seen covered in snow with several snow houses being placed around Rozhok, School and Hospital. There will also be a big Snow village located in Stalber with many small houses containing loot and rewards. Players will be able to travel from one snow house to another with the help of a zip line connecting the houses.

Snow Village (Located at Stalber in Erangel, Iceberg in Livik and Goroka in Vikendi).

Snow Rail (can be used to move from one place to another).

Snowball Blaster (when shot in the ground it helps to make cover and when shot to an enemy, it will make them a snowman for a few seconds).
The best part of the 2.9 update will be the return of the M416 Glacier skin which will be available in a special crate and can be obtained by spending Unknown Cash (UC). The skin will return to the stores for the first time since the game’s unban.
Players will be able to play the 2.9 update when it is released on 28th November. It can be expected that the Android devices will receive the update first, iOS devices will be soon after.
