BMPS 2023 Grand Finals Day 1: Overall Standings, Match Summary and More

Day 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 Grand Finals has concluded with seasoned teams like Blind Esports, Entity and Team XSpark dominating the event. Upcoming teams like GlitchXReborn and Hydra Esports also put forth great fights against experienced teams.

Entity is placed at the top of the table with 75 points. Blind Esports placed second and got 66 points including 32 finish points. Team XSpark was placed at the third spot with 44 points. GlitchxReborn was placed at the fourth spot with 60 points and a chicken dinner. Team Insane got 57 points including 32 finish points.

BMPS 2023 Grand Finals Day 1 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel: 8BitxCS secured the first chicken dinner of the Grand Finals with 17 points. Although 8BitxCS took the chicken dinner, Blind Esports secured the most points, 21, from the match. Blind Esports lost two of its members in the initial fights but the duo of Nakul “Nakul” Sharma and Rudra “Spower” showed good resilience and secured 5 and 2 finishes respectively. Team iNSANE placed third and got 16 points. Revenant Esports put forth good fights and scored 13 points. Hydra Esports, Team Psyche and GlitchxReborn secured 12 points each. Numen Gaming and Team Together Forever were eliminated without any points.

Match 2 Miramar: Gladiators Esports grabbed the chicken dinner on the map of Miramar with 28 points including 13 finish points. Ammar “Destro” Khan from Gladiators Esports was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 6 solo finishes. GlitchxReborn placed second and got 21 points. Blind Esports had back to back good matches and scored 15 points. Team iNSANE and Entity showed good teamwork and received 12 and 10 points respectively. Team Soul and Growing Strong were eliminated with 3 points each.

Match 3 Sanhok: After back to back good matches, GlitchxReborn finally secured a chicken dinner with 23 points. Team XSpark showed good rotations and scored 18 points. Sarangajyoti “Sarang” Deka was the star performer for Team XSpark with 5 solo finishes. 8BitxCS continued its good run and got 17 points. Gladiators Esports placed fourth and got 12 points. Entity showed good teamwork and received 10 points. Team Soul and AutoBotz Esports were eliminated early with 4 points each

Match 4 Vikendi: Growing Strong secured its first chicken dinner of the Grand Finals with 18 points. Entity secured the most points, 21, from the match. Team XSpark had a good mix of finish and placement points and got 16 points. Sarangajyoti “Sarang” Deka from Team XSpark was the MVP of the match with 7 solo finishes. Blind Esports showed aggressive gameplay and secured 16 points. Team Soul made a comeback and grabbed 15 points. Team Psyche and 8BitxCS were eliminated in the initial stages without scoring any points.

Match 5 Miramar: Numen Gaming made a comeback and secured a 26 point chicken dinner. Shaurya “Savitar” Gupta from Numen Gaming was the MVP of the match as he secured 6 solo finishes. Revenant Esports placed second and got 21 points. Team XSpark continued its momentum and scored 17 points. Team iNSANE and 8BitxCS grabbed 12 points each. Team Psyche and Team Together Esports were eliminated early with 1 point each.

Match 6 Erangel: Hydra Esports made a comeback in the last match of the day and secured a 25 point chicken dinner. Entity continued its good run and scored 22 points. GenxFM got 19 points for its team effort. Team Psyche showed good rotations and got 14 points. Team Soul, Numen Gaming, Team Together Esports and GlitchxReborn were eliminated in the initial stages with 1 point each.

Overall Day 1 of BMPS 2023 Grand Finals belonged to seasoned teams like Entity Gaming, Blind Esports and Team XSpark. Some of the experienced teams like Team Soul, Numen Gaming and Revenant Esports showed glimpses of brilliance but are yet to put forth consistent performances.
