Burmese Ghouls Acquires Filipino Coach Dale for Its MLBB Roster

Cambodia’s powerhouse team, Burmese Ghouls announced the acquisition of the iconic Filipino coach Steve “Dale” Vitug for its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) roster. With an illustrious coaching career, the coach brings to the team a rich portfolio of expertise and a proven track record of success in guiding various foreign teams.

Burmese Ghouls has recently made a major comeback the Mobile Legends esports scene. Despite securing a spot in the M5 World Championship in December 2023, the team finished its run in 7th-8th place. Undeterred by this outcome, the squad is actively overhauling its roster, demonstrating a determined effort to fortify its competitive prowess and rise to new heights.

MLBB Coach Dale joins Burmese Ghouls

The trend of foreign esports organizations acquiring Filipino talents for its Mobile Legends teams continues as the Cambodian powerhouse Burmese Ghouls announced the addition of coach Dale Vitug as its new head coach.

“To all Ghouls, Today, we will introduce the new Head Coach of Burmese Ghouls, Steven “Dale” Vitug , who is familiar with Myanmar Mlbb Community,” captioned the post.

Coach Dale joins Burmese Ghouls with prior coaching experience, having previously led Falcon Esports, a prominent Mobile Legends team in Cambodia. This familiarity with the Cambodian gaming landscape is expected to facilitate a seamless transition for him into his new team.

Coach Dale is no stranger to coaching foreign teams. Aside from being the previous coach of ECHO in the Philippines, he has also led iconic names such as the Singapore and Malaysian divisions of HomeBois.

He also briefly coached the North American squad, Team Outplay, during the Mobile Legends Southeast Asian Cup (MSC) 2023. However, the team performed poorly with no wins in its standing.

With Burmese Ghouls acquiring one of the most experienced Filipino coaches in the MLBB esports scene, it will be interesting to see how the team performs in upcoming tournaments.
