Week 3 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 The Grind has concluded with seasoned squads like iQOO Soul, Team Forever, Blind Esports and Entity Gaming dominating the event. Underdog teams like ESCN Esports, Tense Esports, Team UP50 Esports and PL Dominators also showed consistent performances.Ā

ESCN Esports takes the spotlight in Week 3 of The Grind

ESCN Esports was the most dominant team in Week 3. It grabbed two back to back chicken dinners on Day 4 which helped the team climb into the top 3.Ā 

Shayaan from ESCN Esports was the last man standing from the team and he clutched a brilliant 1v4 against Team Psyche to secure the first chicken dinner on the map of Erangel with 24 points. He also grabbed 11 solo finishes which is one of the highest eliminations by a single player in BGIS 2024 The Grind. The chicken dinner helped the team build momentum and climb the overall standings.Ā 

ESCN Esports is currently placed in the top 3 of the overall standings of BGIS 2024 The Grind due to its performance in the Week 3 of the event. Its performance in Week 2 was consistent but after Week 3 it has confirmed its spot for the main event.

Team Forever was placed at the top of the table with 95 points and 2 chicken dinners. iQOO Soul placed second and scored 93 points and 2 chicken dinners, 61 of which came via finishes. ESCN Esports placed third, showed aggressive performance and grabbed 87 points and 3 chicken dinners. The upcoming squad of Tense Esports placed fourth and got 86 points along with 2 chicken dinners. Team UP50 Esports placed fifth and got 72 points and 1 chicken dinner.

Week 3 saw 128 teams competing and have completed their 6 matches in The Grind event. Some of the teams have already confirmed a slot for the main event and some of them are on the verge of elimination. The remaining 128 teams will compete in the last week, Week 4, of The Grind and the top 64 from overall standings will grab a spot in the BGIS 2024 main event.

The experienced squad of Gods Reign led by Ammar ā€œDestroā€ Khan who won BGIS 2023 did not have the best start to the event as they were only able to score 17 points of its three matches and are currently placed on the 148th spot. The team will now have only 3 matches in the Week 4 of the event to qualify for the main event.
