Day 2 of IQOO Pro Series Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 2024 Group Stage has concluded with seasoned teams like Carnival Gaming, Gods Reign, Team XSpark and Gujarat Tigers dominating the event.
Carnival Gaming is placed at the top of the table with 108 points and three chicken dinners. Team XSpark placed second with 71 points and one chicken dinner. Gods Reign placed third with 63 points, 44 of which came via finishes. Gujarat Tigers placed fourth with 58 points. Revenant Esports placed fifth with 57 points and a chicken dinner.
IQOO Pro Series BGMI 2024 Group Stage Day 2 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel (A vs B): Revenant Esports secured a 21 point chicken dinner. Deepak “Sensei” Negi from Revenant Esports was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 6 solo finishes. OR Esports showed aggressive gameplay and got 16 points. Gods Reign and Dark Spirits Esports placed third and fourth and got 9 and 8 points respectively. Team Tamilas placed fifth and got 7 points. TWM Gaming, Big Brother Esports, Alibaba Raiders and Team 8Bit were eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 2 Miramar (A vs C): Team XSpark secured a massive 28 point chicken dinner, 18 of which came via finishes. Shubham “NinjaJod” Sahoo from Team XSpark was the MVP of the match with 10 solo finishes. Alibaba Raiders placed second and scored 14 points. Hyderabad Hydras had a good mix of finish and placement points and got 12 points. Carnival Gaming placed fourth and received 10 points. Team Tamilas placed fifth and received 8 points. Blind Esports, Godlike Esports and Big Brother Esports were eliminated in the early stages with zero points.
Match 3 Erangel (B vs C): Carnival Gaming secured a 19 point chicken dinner on the map of Erangel. Medal Esports showed good rotations and got 13 points. Ankit “Topdawg” Mehra from Medal Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. AutoBotz Esports placed third and scored 10 points. Revenant Esports and Team 8bit placed fourth and fifth with 9 and 8 points respectively. Gujarat Tigers, Team XSpark and WSB Gaming were eliminated in the initial stages without scoring any points.
Match 4 Miramar (A vs B): Blind Esports secured its first chicken dinner of the event with 24 points. Harshh from Blind Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. Gujarat Tigers placed second and got 13 points. Medal Esports placed third and received 12 points. Big Brother Esports and Entity Gaming placed fourth and fifth and got 9 and 8 points respectively. Hyderabad Hydras were eliminated with just a single point.
Match 5 Erangel (A vs C): FS Esports grabbed an 18 point chicken dinner. Big Brother Esports placed second and got 12 points for its team effort. Entity Gaming placed third and scored 10 points. Saumya “Saumraj” Raj from Entity Gaming was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. Blind Esports placed fourth and got 9 points. Godlike Esports placed fifth and scored 6 points, all coming via finishes. Alibaba Raiders was eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 6 Miramar (B vs C): Dark Spirits Esports secured a 15 point chicken dinner. Although Dark Spirits Esports secured the chicken dinner, Gujarat Tigers grabbed the most points, 17, of which 12 came via finishes. Carnival Gaming placed third and got 11 points. Gods Reign placed fourth and got 9 points, all scored via finishes. Pawan “Shogun” Kumar from Gods Reign was the MVP of the match with 6 solo finishes. SkullTZ Esports placed fifth and received 9 points.
Day 2 of IQOO Pro Series BGMI 2024 was dominated by seasoned teams with the top 16 qualifying for the Grand Finals. Some of the experienced teams like Team 8Bit and Hyderabad Hydras were not able to put forth consistent performances in the Group Stages and were eliminated from the event’s Grand Finals.
