PMGC 2023: Qualified Teams, Schedule, Format, Prize Pool & Where to Watch

PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) is the final event of the PUBG Mobile tournaments circuit where international teams compete with each other for a massive prize pool.Ā 

The International season has ended and several teams from all over the world have secured their spot in the event through various qualifying events. The schedule, prize pool, dates and how fans will be able to watch the tournament has also been revealed.

PMGC 2023 Qualified Teams

The PMGC 2023 event is set to take place from 2nd November to 10th December in Istanbul at Ɯlker Sports and Event Hall. A total of 50 teams will be participating in the event, of which 48 teams shall be playing the League Stages and 2 teams have been directly invited to the Grand Finals. The prize pool for the event is a massive $3 Million USD.

These are the teams that have been invited directly to the Grand Finals:

PMGC 2023 Format

League Stage: 2nd to 26th November.

  • Group Stage: The Group Stage will be played from 2nd to 19th November. The 48 teams will be divided into 3 groups of 16. Each group will play in a certain week for four days. Each day will consist of 6 matches with a total of 24 matches for each group. The top 3 teams from each group will proceed to the Grand Finals and teams placed from 4th to 11th will advance to the Survival Stage. The bottom 5 teams will be eliminated from the event.

  • Survival Stage: The Survival Stage will be played from 22nd to 24th November. The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups of 8 and will play in the round robin format. Each group will play 6 matches every day for 3 days with a total of 18 matches. The top 16 teams will advance to the Last Chance stage and the remaining 8 will be eliminated from the event.

  • Last Chance: The 16 teams participating in the Last Chance stage will play 12 matches on 25th and 26th November. The top 5 teams will advance to the Grand Finals and the remaining 11 teams shall be eliminated from the event.

Grand Finals: The Grand Finals will be held from 8th to 10th December. The 14 teams that qualify from the Group Stage and 2 directly invited teams will play 18 matches across three days.
