Upthrust Esports BGMI Multiverse Series 2024 provided fans with back to back action packed battles. The Grand Finals of the event saw intense fights across the five days and Revenant Esports emerged as one of the most dominant teams and made a staggering comeback to be crowned the champion of the event.
Revenant Esports took home a sum of INR 3 Lakhs. Team Tamilas placed second and got INR 2 Lakhs. Godlike Esports placed third and received INR 1.5 Lakhs.
The event also had other special awards. Jonathan “Jonathan” Amaral was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the event with 44 finishes and he also took home the award for the same along with a sum of INR 50,000. Revenant Esports got the award for the most chicken dinners and received INR 50,000.
Upthrust Esports BGMI Multiverse Series Grand Finals Overall Standings
Revenant Esports placed at the top of the table with 283 points including 5 chicken dinners and 131 finish points. It was placed at the seventh spot after Day 4 concluded but the team made a remarkable comeback on the last day of the event to eventually be crowned as the champion. Team Tamilas who dominated the Semi Finals as well as the first couple of days of the Grand Finals slipped to the second spot with 265 points and 4 chicken dinners. Godlike Esports was also one of the teams that made a comeback on the last two days of the Grand Finals and grabbed the third spot with 263 points and a chicken dinner.
Reckoning Esports placed fourth and received 255 points along with 3 chicken dinners. Team XSpark placed at the fifth spot with 252 points and 2 chicken dinners. The upcoming squad of TWM Gaming put forth consistent performances and placed sixth with 234 points including 2 chicken dinners. Global Esports showed aggressive gameplay and placed seventh with 233 points including 126 finish points. Medal Esports placed eighth and accrued 233 points with 1 chicken dinner.
Overall the Upthrust Esports BGMI Multiverse Series 2024 saw tough competition between seasoned teams. Some of the upcoming teams like TWM Gaming and Hydra Esports were able to put forth good fights against seasoned teams. Some of the experienced teams like IQOO Soul and Entity Gaming were able to show glimpses of brilliance but were unable to put forth consistent performances and placed in the bottom of the points table.
