Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1: Orangutan secured the first chicken dinner of the day with 20 points. Entity Gaming started their day on a good note and secured 18 points. Revenant Esports placed third with 15 points. Gujarat Titans and OR Esports were able to grab 12 points each. Team X Spark, Team 8Bit and Team Soul were eliminated early with 2 points each.
Match 2: Blind Esports grabbed a massive 29 point chicken dinner in the second match of the day. Manpreet “Rony” Singh was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 6 finishes. Entity Gaming continued its momentum and secured 16 points from the match. Team 8Bit and Team X Spark grabbed 11 and 10 points respectively. Midwave Esports and OR Esports were eliminated early without scoring any points.
Match 3: OR Esports secured a 23 point chicken dinner including 8 finish points. Team Psyche made a comeback to secure 20 points. Gujarat Titans placed third with 14 points. Team Soul grabbed 11 points from the match. Godlike Esports, Team 8Bit and Team Tamilas were eliminated in the initial phases with 1 point each.
Match 4: Gods Reign secured its first chicken dinner of the Finals with 26 points. Team 8Bit made a comeback and secured 16 points. Midwave Esports placed third with 14 points. Team Soul placed fourth with 13 points and Blind Esports placed fifth with 12 points. Team X Spark and Gujarat Titans were not able to put forth a good performance and were eliminated in the initial phases without scoring any points.
Match 5: Gujarat Titans made a comeback and secured a 20 points chicken dinner. Team X Spark who was eliminated without scoring any points in the last match also secured 20 points from the match. Team Soul continued its good run and grabbed 17 points. OR Esports and Revenant Esports scored 14 and 10 points respectively.
Match 6: After putting forth consistent performances in the last couple of matches Team Soul finally grabbed a 23 points chicken dinner. Global Esports placed second, secured 18 points and Team Tamilas placed fourth securing 15 points. Entity Gaming made a comeback in this match to secure 14 points. Team X Spark, Godlike Esports and Midwave Esports were eliminated early with 1 point each.
Match 7: Entity Gaming Grabbed its first chicken dinner for the Finals with 23 points. Orangutan placed second with 22 points including 10 finish points. Team Tamilas placed third with 16 points and Godlike Esports placed fourth with 14 points. Team Soul and Blind Esports faced early elimination in the last match of the day and were not able to grab any points.

Overall the first day of Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle 2023 Finals was dominated by Entity Gaming, Team Soul and Blind Esports. Few seasoned teams like Team X Spark and Gladiator Esports were not able to put forth good performances and will be hoping to make a comeback on Day 2 of the event.
