8Bit: Rosters and Achievements

8Bit is one of the veteran esports organizations in India and has fielded an esports roster since 2019 in PUBG Mobile, and now in BGMI. It was one of the first teams to represent India at the global stage in PUBG Mobile Star Challenge (PMSC) Asia 2018. The first esports roster was formed for PUBG Mobile tournaments but has gone through major changes since then. Many well known esports athletes like Sahil “Omega” Jakhar, Akshat “Akshat” Goel, Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo, Rudra “Spower”, Parv “Regaltos” Singh and Hemanth “Ultron” Sethi have represented the organization.

8Bit joined hands with CS Esports for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 event where it had four players from CS Esports and two players from Team 8Bit. The collaboration was due to the fact that the 8Bit squad was unable to qualify for the BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2023 main event where the top 96 teams were invited to the BMPS 2023 event. Some of the players from the 8Bit squad also left for different teams like Harshit “Beast” Yadav left for Global Esports and Dhruv “Madman” Gaur left for Hyderabad Hydras.

The 8Bit BGMI squad was one of the most aggressive teams since BGMI’s return in May. The team dominated across multiple third party BGMI tournaments and achieved the best result in the Upthrust Esports Ranbhoomi 2.0 where it was crowned the champion. Although the squad was consistent in multiple third party events in the initial stages, it could not replicate the same in official events like the BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2023 where it was eliminated from the open qualifiers.

S8UL has also won multiple awards on the international platform in the content creation category and recently won the award at the Esports Awards 2023 event.
