Day 4 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 The Grind Week 3 Group 7 has concluded with upcoming teams dominating the event. Underdog teams like Faith Esports, Team Aaru and K9 Squad dominated Group 7 along with ESCN Esports and CS Esports from Group 8. ESCN Esports was the most dominant team in Week 3 as it became one of the teams to grab back to back chicken dinners. 

The event will see 256 teams competing for a spot in the BGIS 2024 main event.

BGIS 2024 The Grind – Week 3 – Day 4 – Groups 7 and 8 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel: HUB Esports secured a 22 point chicken dinner. Cronix from HUB Esports was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 5 finishes. Team Aaru placed second and got 15 points. DCent Official placed third and scored 13 points, 9 of which came via finishes. LZ Officials placed fourth, it showed good rotations and got 12 points. Team RGB placed fifth and got 7 points, all coming via finishes.

Match 2 Miramar: K9 Squad made a comeback and grabbed a 22 point chicken dinner. Zap from K9 Squad was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. United Soul placed second and scored 15 points. Team Aaru placed third and got 14 points, 10 of which came via finishes. Faith Esports placed fourth and got 10 points. Mi7 Legends placed fifth and got 9 points. Young Blood, Team Five Chief and Rising Star Official were eliminated with 1 point each.

Match 3 Sanhok: Faith Esports secured a massive chicken dinner with 26 points. AydenRx from Faith Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. MidWave Esports placed second and got 10 points. United Soul placed third and got 9 points. HUB Esports placed fourth and scored 8 points, all coming via finishes. Team Aaru placed fifth and got 7 points. Young Blood, Team Five Chief, Mi7 Legends were eliminated early with zero points.

Match 1 Erangel: ESCN Esports secured a 24 point chicken dinner. Shayaan from ESCN Esports was the MVP of the match with 11 solo finishes. Team Psyche placed second and got 13 points. Team SE4L placed third and scored 11 points, 8 of which came via finishes. Hyper Legends and BurnX Officials placed fourth and fifth and got 7 points each. Sepoy Mutiny was eliminated in the initial stages with just a single point.

Match 2 Miramar: ESCN Esports grabbed back to back chicken dinners with 23 points. Honey from ESCN Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. BurnX Officials placed second and scored 15 points. Hyper Legends placed third and got 12 points. Team Elite and Gladiators Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 6 points each. Volcanic Esports and Spy Elite were eliminated early with a single point each.

Match 3 Sanhok: CS Esports secured a 26 point chicken dinner. Noobie from CS Esports was the MVP of the match with 8 finishes. Hyper Legends and Originals Mizoram placed second and third and got 12 points each. Volcanic Esports and Team Elite placed fourth and fifth and got 7 points each. Spy Elite, BurnX Officials and 4 HorseMen were eliminated early with 1 point each.

Day 4 of the event was dominated by upcoming teams like Faith Esports, Team Aaru and ESCN Esports along with the other squads like K9 Squad and CS Esports. A few teams like Team Excellent 4 and The Supari Gang were unable to put forth consistent performance and placed in the bottom of the points table with single digit points.
