Day 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 The Grind, Week 4, Groups 9 and 10 has concluded with upcoming teams dominating the event. Underdog teams like Team VST, Grind One Esports and Imprint Esports dominated Group 9 along with Raven Esports and Big Brother Esports from Group 10.

The event will see 256 teams competing for a spot in the BGIS 2024 main event.

BGIS 2024 The Grind – Week 4 – Day 1 – Groups 9 and 10 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel: Ghuso Esports secured a 19 point chicken dinner. Team VST got the most points from the match, 20. Dazzle7 from Team VST was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 8 solo finishes. Carnival Gaming placed third and scored 16 points, 11 of which came via finishes. Tedrex Gaming and Grind One Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 7 points each. Megastars Gaming and Team VRH TEN were eliminated early with 1 point each.

Match 2 Miramar: Team VST secured a massive chicken dinner with 27 points. BeastOG from Team VST was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Imprint Esports made a comeback and scored 14 points. Stellar Titans placed third and got 11 points. Only Finishes placed fourth and got 8 points. TWOB placed fifth and got 7 points, 6 of which came via finishes. Mavericks and Grind One Esports were eliminated early with a single point each.

Match 3 Sanhok: Grind One Esports made a comeback and secured a 26 point chicken dinner. Hedwig from Grind One Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Megastars Gaming and Team VST placed second and third and grabbed 11 points each. Imprint Esports and Carnival Gaming continued their good run and got 8 points each. ASG Esports was eliminated in the early stages with just a single point.

Match 1 Erangel: SBA Esports secured a 19 point chicken dinner. Rivalry Esports showed aggressive gameplay and got 17 points, 13 of which came via finishes. Bijlu from Rivalry Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. Big Brother Esports placed third and scored 12 points. Desync Esports placed fourth and got 11 points, 8 of which came via finishes. Gujarat Tigers placed fifth, it showed good rotations and got 7 points.

Match 2 Miramar: WSB Gaming grabbed a 16 point chicken dinner. Gujarat Tigers showed aggressive gameplay and got the most points from the match, 22, of which 17 points came via finishes. Arjun “ShadowOG” Mandhalkar from Gujarat Tigers was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. One Night Fighters placed third and got 10 points. F4B Esports placed fourth and scored 8 points. Undefeated Mizoram placed fifth and got 6 points.

Match 3 Sanhok: Raven Esports secured a massive chicken dinner with 25 points. Reaper from Raven Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Big Brother Esports placed second and got 13 points. Believer Esports and AllStars Esports placed third and fourth and scored 8 points each. NoRules Xtreme placed fifth and got 7 points. One Night Fighters were eliminated in the initial stages with 1 point.

Day 1 of the event was dominated by upcoming teams like Grind One Esports, Team VST and Raven Esports along with other underdog squads like WSB Gaming and Imprint Esports. A few teams like Rising Falcon and uDog India were unable to put forth consistent performance and placed in the bottom of the points table with single digit points.
