The recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 saw some intense battles between seasoned and upcoming squads. Few teams from the BGIS 2023 will have an opportunity to play the India vs South Korea BGMI Invitational tournament. This is a big step provided by Krafton for the Indian teams as they will have a chance to compete against international teams.
BGMI India vs South Korea Invitational: Qualified Teams and Dates
The event will take place from 26th – 28th October. The three day event will have the top teams from India and South Korea participating for a massive prize pool. The teams participating from India are expected to be selected from the recently concluded BGIS 2023 whereas the South Korean teams will be chosen from the Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) event.Â
The top 8 teams from BGIS 2023 and the top 8 teams from PMPS are expected to participate in the event. Here are the squads that shall be playing the event:

Gladiator Esports from India was formed after the unban of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in May and in this short span of time the squad has already earned two major titles such as the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 and BGIS 2023. Big Brother Esports, an upcoming team from India has also impressed many with its aggressive yet consistent gameplay. TWM Gaming is another underdog team which qualified for BGIS 2023 from the open qualifiers and will also get an opportunity to play the event.
BGMI is an India specific version of PUBG Mobile and teams from India rarely have an opportunity to play international teams. Since the launch of BGMI in India only a few teams like Team Soul, Godlike Esports and 7Sea Esports have had the opportunity to play against international teams.
Overall this tournament will be a big opportunity for Indian teams to test their mettle against experienced international teams and improve their skills. The event is said to be a LAN event and will be taking place in front of a large number of fans.
