Day 2 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 was fierce and provided the viewers with back to back action packed matches. Seasoned teams like Team Soul, Blind Esports and Team X Spark showed their prowess and continued to dominate. Upcoming teams like Team Together Esports (TTE), Big Brother Esports and Hydra Esports also put forth great fights.
TTE was the most consistent team on Day 2 of BMPS 2023 and is placed on top of the points table with 63 points. Team Soul and Big Brother Esports placed second and third respectively with 58 points each.
BMPS 2023 League Stage Day 2 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel (Group 2 vs Group 4): Blind Esports grabbed its first chicken dinner of BMPS 2023 with 24 points. Team Soul continued its momentum from Day 1 and secured 21 points. Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 5 solo finishes. Metal Wings placed third and scored 14 points. Seal also showed good team work and got 11 points. Gujarat Tigers were eliminated in the initial stages without scoring any points.
Match 2 Miramar (Group 1 vs Group 4): TTE secured a massive 32 point chicken dinner on the map of Miramar. Saikat was the MVP for TTE as he secured 8 solo finishes. Team FS placed second and got 22 points. Team Silly placed third, showed good rotations and scored 16 points. Gladiators Esports was able to score 14 points. WSB Gaming and Enigma Gaming were eliminated with only 3 points each.
Match 3 Sanhok (Group 3 vs Group 4): Blind Esports secured its second chicken dinner of the day with 18 points. Although Blind Esports secured the chicken dinner, ORB took the most points (22) from the match. Team X Spark had a good mix of placement and finish points and secured 14 points. Sarangajyoti “Sarang” Deka was the MVP of the match as he secured 6 finishes. Titan and Hydra Esports were able to grab 12 and 13 points respectively.
Match 4 Vikendi (Group 2 vs Group 6): Big Brother Esports secured its first chicken dinner of BMPS 2023 with 30 points which included 15 finish points. Sarvit, Uzumaki and Saif were the star performers for Big Brother Esports as they secured 5, 4 and 4 finishes respectively. Entity had a good match and grabbed 20 points. Gujarat Titans made a comeback to secure 16 points. Team Empire also had a comeback match and scored 12 points. Team Soul and BloodRose were eliminated early with 1 point each.
Match 5 Erangel (Group 1 vs Group 5): Gladiators Esports secured the chicken dinner in the last match of the day with 26 points. Justin “Justin” Nadar was the star performer for them as he secured 6 finishes. Team Megastars placed second and grabbed 23 points. Blaxx from team Megastars was the MVP of the match with 9 finishes. TTE got 19 points for its team effort. Reckoning Esports placed fourth and secured 12 points.
Upcoming teams like TTF, Big Brother Esports and Hydra Esports have countered the seasoned teams’ strategies and have dominated Days 1 and 2 of the event. Experienced teams like Team Soul, Gladiators Esports and Blind Esports have put forth consistent performances and are placed in the top 8 on the points table.
