BMPS 2023 Week 2 Day 2: Overall Standings, Match Summary and More

Day 2 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 has provided the viewers with back to back action packed battles. Teams like IM Official, 4 Aggressive Man (4AM) and FLY Esports have made incredible comebacks and put forth good performances.

Team Together Esports (TTE) is placed at the top of the table with 83 points and two chicken dinners. Team Genesis placed second with 74 points including 41 placement points. IM Official and Blind Esports are placed third and fourth with 49 points each. Global Esports placed fifth with 43 points including 27 finish points.

BMPS 2023 Week 2 Day 2 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel (Group 3 vs Group 5): IM Official secured its first chicken dinner of BMPS 2023 with 26 points. Road To Glory (RTG) placed second and got 17 points. 4AM showed good team work and got 15 points. Team SEAL made a comeback and scored 13 points. Metal Wings and Team No Ones were eliminated early without scoring any points.

Match 2 Miramar (Group 2 vs Group 3): 4AM grabbed the chicken dinner with 22 points on the map of Miramar. Skillful was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match as he secured 5 solo finishes. Global Esports closely followed them and placed second with 21 points, 11 of which came via eliminations. IM Official continued its momentum and scored 17 points. 7Shore placed fourth and got 16 points. Metal Wings had back to back failures and was again eliminated without scoring any points.

Match 3 Sanhok (Group 1 vs Group 6): Gujarat Tigers secured a comeback chicken dinner with 26 points. Eggy was the star performer for them as he secured 5 solo finishes. Growing Strong continued its good run and grabbed 22 points. Hyderabad Hydras and Team DOD placed third and fourth, and got 11 and 10 points respectively. UP50 and Blind Esports were eliminated in the early stages with 4 points each. 

Match 4 Vikendi (Group 4 vs Group 5): FLY Esports secured a massive 27 point chicken dinner including 12 finish points. TTE showed a position based gameplay and got 17 points. LiveCraft was the most aggressive team and it was able to get 15 points including 11 finish points. Omega from LiveCraft was the MVP of the match as he secured 7 finishes for himself. MG Esports and MYM were placed fourth and fifth and got 12 and 10 points respectively.

Match 5 Erangel (Group 4 vs Group 6): TTE secured its second chicken dinner of Week 2 with 27 points. Blind Esport had a good mix of finish and placement points with 24 total points. Genesis Esports had equal finish and placement points with 20 overall points. Bunny from Genesis Esports was the MVP of the match as he secured 6 finishes. MG Esports and MYM placed fourth and fifth by continuing their momentum from the last match and scored 13 and 12 points respectively.

On Day 2 of BMPS 2023, teams placed in the second half of the points table made a comeback and secured a place in the top 10. A few seasoned teams like Global Esports, Gujarat Tigers and Revenant Esports have two more matches remaining for the week and will be hoping to secure as many points as possible to climb the overall points table.
