From April 18, prospective fans of Gray Zone Warfare will be able to check out extensive gameplay sequences as some of the most popular streamers in the business dive into the game to check out the entire map without the burden of an NDA keeping them behind closed doors. It’ll be the single-best opportunity to see ‘GZW’ in action before the official release date (which is still unconfirmed) rolls around.

Gray Zone Warfare Streams Inbound
For an entire week – starting April 18 – streamers and content creators will be landing on Lamang Island to explore Gray Zone Warfare, an in-development tactical PvEvP shooter with open-world extraction shooter-style elements. I recently sat down with MADFINGER’s Rick Lagnese to learn about the core elements of the game, which is becoming increasingly ambitious – and delivering on those ambitions – as time goes on.
As you can imagine, some of the streamers being attracted to Gray Zone Warfare’s creator campaign are neck-deep in the world of Escape from Tarkov. For instance, LVNDMARK, who has 1.2 million followers on Twitch and is often considered the game’s topmost creator, will be diving into Gray Zone Warfare to secure his earliest impressions of what the game has to offer.
At the heart of Gray Zone Warfare is a focus on realism. That applies to healing and health mechanics, inventory management, and weapon handling. The team at MADFINGER has applied next-generation ballistics and bullet physics to GZW, which all serve to increase the immersion of the player immeasurably.
