Kronten reveals details about Ghatak’s exit from Godlike Esports and his future plans

In the recent Men of Culture podcast with AFK Gaming, Kronten talked about Godlike Esports’ BGMI roster, Ghatak’s departure from the organization and his future.

Kronten was asked about Ghatak’s departure from Godlike Esports and why they parted ways with him to which he responded, “It is not like either Ghatak has left us or or we have left Ghatak but it was more about his vision in Gaming, he wanted to do different things. This was the issue due to which we couldn’t continue together, because it creates a kind of a conflict. For example a TO [Tournament Organizers] and an organization cannot have a relation as it creates a conflict of interest and even publishers don’t provide work to such TO’s. But if he ever needs help we will always be there for him and vice versa.”

Kronten provided some insights about Ghatak’s future plan and said, “Ghatak has been working on his plans for two months now and has executed what he wanted to do and hopefully we will soon be seeing an announcement from him.”

Kronten also spoke about Godlike Esports’ BGMI roster and provided the reason for their decline in performance in 2023, “An organization always goes through a downfall or a bad period and I think that period is over for us. One of the main reasons for the decline in our performance was that we made too many changes this year. We had almost eight to ten players on our roster and I don’t think any other organization has made so many changes in such a short period of time. We are working on the mistakes that we made in 2023 and hopefully 2024 will be a good year for us.”

Ghatak was a mentor for Godlike Esports. The organization recently parted ways with him after more than two years. Kronten said Ghatak’s vision for the future was different which is why both of the parties took different paths. Kronten also mentioned that Ghatak’s plans have been executed and an announcement is around the corner, so fans can expect an announcement from Ghatak soon.
