MLBB Original Server Patch 1.8.78 Update: Tank Hero and Equipment Adjustments

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Original Server Patch 1.8.78 Update has arrived featuring a plethora of adjustments for the game. The patch focuses on adjusting most of the Tank equipment in the game.

This update is looking to prevent non-tank heroes from abusing some of the equipment catered towards tanks or fighters. 

To compensate for the adjustment, most Tank heroes have also received a slight buff in the MLBB Original Server Patch 1.8.78 Update. This is to prevent these heroes from underperforming due to the changes made to some of the equipment.

MLBB Original Server Patch 1.8.78 Update: Revamped Heroes

Shadowbringer – Helcurt

This hero gets a new visual effects overhaul as well as a few changes to his skills.

Passive – Shadow of Styx

• Helcurt remains in Prowler state, gains Movement Speed, and continuously regenerates HP until spotted by the enemy team.

• He gains extra Movement and Attack Speed briefly upon being spotted. Any enemy hero killed by Helcurt will unleash a dark fog that Conceals Helcurt.

Skill 1 – Hidden Terror

• When Helcurt is in Prowler state, the skill terrifies enemy heroes hit and quickly reduces its own cooldown.

• Removed the enhanced effects during his Ultimate.

Others – Removed Chip’s Camera Overlay Feature

• When teammates approach the Connecting Portal placed by Chip, a camera overlay will appear on the screen. This feature has some issues and may cause lag for the player in certain situations.

• Therefore, this has been temporarily removed from his skill set (including Ultimate and Special Skill). This feature shall be optimized and brought back in a future update.

Increased base Defense to match the adjustments to defensive equipment.

Manage Resources

To help users better understand and manage the game’s resources based on their device, this patch introduces a new resource management feature.

• Resource Transparency: All resource modules will be clearly displayed with detailed descriptions to help players gain a better understanding of the resource composition.

• Optimized Resource Allocation: Based on the storage capacity of the player’s device, resources are divided into Necessary, Advanced, and Extreme, with corresponding download choices.

• Improved Interface Tool: Resource Management interface integrates commonly used management tools for players, simplifying the resource management process.

Limited-Time Return of MLBB x Jujutsu Kaisen Draw Event

• From 8th June to 13th July server time, MLBB x Jujutsu Kaisen draw event will be available with collab skins!

• The first 10 draws are guaranteed a random permanent collab reward. 50% OFF for each daily Draw 1X and 10% OFF for each Draw 10X.
