PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2024: Winners, Prize Pool Distribution and More

The PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2024 main event has concluded with Reject, Alpha7 Esports, IHC Esports and Vampire Esports dominating the event. The Reject squad was the most consistent team in the event and dominated across Days 2 and 3 of the event to be crowned the champion. It also became the first team from Japan to win a major PUBG Mobile tournament.

Reiji “Reiji” Maeda from the Reject squad was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the event with 34 eliminations.

The PMGO 2024 event saw 16 teams competing across three days in the main event for a massive prize pool of $356,000 USD.

Reject placed at the top of the table with 157 points along with 93 kill points and 2 chicken dinners. Alpha7 Esports placed second and scored 139 points and 3 chicken dinners. Vampire Esports placed third, it showed aggressive gameplay and got 127 points along with 3 chicken dinners. IHC Esports placed fourth, it was one of the most dominating teams in the event and grabbed 127 points, 91 of which came via eliminations.

S2G Esports placed fifth and got 126 points along with 2 chicken dinners. IW NRX placed sixth and got 125 points with 1 chicken dinner. Boom Esports placed seventh, secured 123 points and 2 chicken dinners. Falcon Esports CSA placed eighth and got 115 points with 1 chicken dinner, 78 of which came via eliminations. Nova Esports who returned to its first major PUBG tournament after a year long period was not able to show consistent performances and placed twelfth with 76 points.

Overall the PMGO 2024 main event saw some intense battles over a period of two weeks. Some of the experienced teams could not put forth their best performance in pressure situations and placed in the second half of the points table.
