Day 1 of the Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Multiverse Series 2024 Semi Finals has concluded. Some of the seasoned teams like Team Tamilas, Reckoning Esports and Revenant Esports have dominated Day 1 of the event.
Team Tamilas is placed at the top of the table with 61 points. Reckoning Esports placed second and got 56 points including a chicken dinner. Revenant Esports placed at the third spot with 52 points including 25 finish points. Global Esports placed at the fourth spot with 50 points. Medal Esports got 48 points including 28 placement points.
BGMI Multiverse Series Semi Finals Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel (A vs B): Team Tamilas secured the first chicken dinner of the Semi Finals with 25 points. Although Team Tamilas secured the chicken dinner, Global Esports took the most points, 26, from the match. Chemin Esports and WSB Gaming placed third and fourth and got 14 points each. Orangutan placed fifth and got 10 points, 9 of which came via finishes. Ashish “Ash” Bhatnagar from Orangutan was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 6 solo finishes. Team Omega and Medal Esports were eliminated early without scoring any points.
Match 2 Miramar (A vs C): IQOO Soul secured its first chicken dinner of the Semi Finals with 29 points. Rudra “Spower” from IQOO Soul was the MVP of the match with 7 solo finishes. Revenant Esports showed aggressive gameplay and got 22 points including 10 finish points. WSB Gaming placed third and got 15 points. Entity Gaming and Team XSpark placed fourth and fifth and got 9 points each. Team Destro and Blind Esports were eliminated in the early stages with 2 points each.
Match 3 Erangel (B vs C): Team 8Bit grabbed a 22 point chicken dinner on the map of Erangel. Team Tamilas continued its good run and got 21 points. Aslaa Esports and Reckoning Esports showed good teamwork and got 14 and 11 points respectively. Entity Gaming and Medal Esports placed fifth and sixth and got 8 points each for their team effort. Team Zero and Godlike Esports were eliminated in the initial phase with 1 point each.
Match 4 Miramar (A vs B): Medal Esports secured a comeback chicken dinner with 20 points. Although Medal Esports secured the chicken dinner, Revenant Esports got the most points, 21, from the match. Ritesh “Fierce” Nawandar from Revenant Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 solo finishes. Reckoning Esports placed third and got 20 points. Global Esports and IQOO Soul got 14 and 13 points respectively.
Match 5 Erangel (A vs C): GenxFM made a comeback and grabbed a 24 point chicken dinner. Blind Esports had a good mix of finish and placement points and got 18 points. WSB Gaming and TWM Gaming placed third and fourth with 14 and 10 points respectively. Hydra Esports showed good rotations and got 9 points. Team Omega, Team Destro and Team XSpark were eliminated early without scoring any points.
Match 6 Miramar (B vs C): Reckoning Esports continued its good run and got a 24 point chicken dinner on the map of Miramar. Medal Esports had good matches back to back and secured 20 points. WindGod Esports showed a position based gameplay and got 14 points. Team 8Bit scored 12 points, 8 of which came via finishes. TWM Gaming continued its momentum and got 10 points. Big Brother Esports, Hydra Esports and Team XSpark were eliminated early with 1 point each.
Overall Day 1 of Upthrust Esports BGMI Multiverse Series 2024 Semi Finals belonged to seasoned teams like Team Tamilas, Reckoning Esports and Revenant Esports. Some of the experienced teams like Team Destro, Godlike Esports and Team XSpark are yet to put forth their best performances.
