Enigma Gaming is one of the most well known Indian esports organizations. It has rosters in various esports titles such as Valorant, Free Fire and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The organization acquired the Team Forever roster in 2022 and formed Team Enigma Forever which represented it in several tournaments in 2022 and 2023. It was recently revealed that the organization has let go of two of its core members from its BGMI roster.
Enigma Gaming bids farewell to Maxkash and Daljit from its BGMI roster
Enigma Gaming revealed that it has released Akash “Maxkash” Anandani and Daljit “Daljitsk” Singh from its BGMI roster. This news comes after the roster was unable to produce satisfactory results in the recently concluded Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 and Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 2023.
The organization shared a message on its instagram handle that read, “Thank you for everything, Daljit and Maxkash. You both have been an integral part of Enigma Gaming for the past 2 years and we are very grateful for all your contributions.
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and it’s with a heavy heart that we bid you farewell. Goodluck for the next chapter in your careers”.
Enigma Gaming had two BGMI rosters, the main roster which played under the Enigma Gaming banner and Team Enigma Forever which consisted of Daljitsk, Maxkash, Mohammed “Owais” Lakhani and Infinityop. After the main roster left to join Numen Gaming, the Owais led roster was brought in to play as the main roster.
The team showed promise in the initial phase of BGIS 2023 but was later eliminated. It also had a good performance in BGMS 2023 Season 2 and was able to qualify for the Grand Finals, but the team had an average performance in the Grand Finals and placed 15th.
Daljit and Maxkash are veteran players in the game. They were the core players on the team and played together for a long time. Daljit is known for his sniper skills and Maxkash was one of the top fraggers in the game.
The current roster of Enigma Gaming consists of Owais and Infinityop. The team is currently trying out new players as there are several new BGMI tournaments coming up in the future.
