PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) is the final event of the PUBG Mobile competitive season. The PMGC 2024 event as always will commence in the month of November. A massive prize pool of $3 million USD has also been revealed for the 2024 edition of the event which is similar to the previous edition.
PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 slot distribution revealed
PUBG Mobile’s publisher, Krafton, on the final day of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2024 revealed a few details about the PMGC 2024 event. The event will feature 48 teams in its league stages but the number of teams invited is yet to be revealed. During the announcement of PMGC 2024 the details of the slot distribution were also revealed.

Additional slot for PMWC winners’ region – 1 Team.
The teams will be qualifying for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 event by playing the regional events which will act as qualifiers. PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) is being hosted in various regions such as SEA, CSA and more as a regional event and teams who are competing in these events will get a chance to qualify for the PMGC 2024 event. Teams from the Chinese region will play the marquee Peacekeeper Elite League (PEL) tournament and will qualify for PMGC 2024.
The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024 event will commence in July and will be played in Riyadh in the Esports World Cup with over 48 teams from multiple regions participating. The event boasts a prize pool of $3 million USD. The region of the winner of the PMWC 2024 event will also be granted an extra slot for the PMGC 2024 event.
The first major PUBG Mobile tournament of 2024, PMGO 2024 recently concluded with Japan’s Reject squad putting forth a dominant performance to win the event. Several seasoned teams like Alpha7 Esports, Vampire Esports and IHC Esports had also put forth good performances.
