Upthrust Esports The Patriot Cup BGMI: Teams, Schedule, Prize Pool and More

Upthrust Esports has unveiled yet another Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) event just a couple of days after the conclusion of The Final Showdown BGMI event. The new event named The Patriot Cup will be played across eight days and will have 24 teams participating. The tournament also boasts a prize pool of INR 8  Lakhs along with special awards and prize money for individual performances and team performances.

Upthrust Esports held open qualifiers for The Patriot Cup event which had 512 teams participating, out of which the top 5 have qualified for the Semi Finals. The Semi Finals has 24 teams divided into 3 groups of 8 each. The teams will play across four days in the Semi Finals with six matches each day and each team shall play four matches per day. The event will be played from 23rd January to 31st January 2024.

Points System

Upthrust Esports has revealed that it will be allocating points to the teams on the basis of the Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile Esports points system. The team securing the chicken dinner will now receive 10 points instead of 15 and the amount of points will keep decreasing for lower placed teams. 

Prize Pool Distribution

The event boasts a prize pool of INR 8 Lakhs. The top 8 teams will be awarded prize money with the winner taking home a sum of INR 2.5 Lakhs. The event also has prize money for individual performances like the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, Dominating Player and Most Chicken Dinners.

• Champion: INR 2.5 Lakhs.

• Runner up: INR 1.5 Lakh.

• 2nd Runner up: INR 1 Lakh.

• 4th Place: INR 75,000.

• 5th Place: INR 50,000.

• 6th Place: INR 25,000.

• 7th Place: INR 25,000.

• 8th Place: INR 25,000.

• Most Valuable Player (MVP): INR 50,000.

• Most Chicken Dinners: INR 25,000.

• Most Dominating Player: INR 25,000.

The Multiverse Series 2024 Final Showdown BGMI event will be live streamed on the official and from 12 PM onwards.
